2019: A year of collaborative growth

This year, Regional Development Australia Central Coast has accomplished many achievements and spearheaded collaboration on all levels for the success of our region.

Frank Sammut

With an impressive management and leadership career in the food manufacturing and engineering sectors, Frank is a valued advisor and consultant to both the private and government sectors. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Central Coast Industry Connect – a not-for-profit organisation representing Central Coast manufacturers and partner of the Central Coast Food Innovation Initiative.

Linda Cooper

Linda is the Associate Director - Campus Coordination at The University of Newcastle, Central Coast Campus, and holds a Bachelor of Business (Honours) and a Masters of Tertiary Education Management. Prior to her role with the University, Linda had 20 years’ business experience as a Human Resource and Industrial Relations Specialist across a range of industries including fast moving consumer goods, aged care and education.

Showcasing Our Food Industry and Producers Across the Central Coast 

In 2019, we've continued working with our region's food industry as part of our Central Coast Food Innovation Initiative, and as a result have realised real economic benefit for the Central Coast.

Our 'Local Food Innovator' series has highlighted some of the producers, manufacturers and entrepreneurs who are making the Coast a coveted food destination. 

This year, we have proudly featured some inspiring local establishments.
