First Week of the Artisan Home Tour a Hit! |
Great Traffic and Great Coverage!Opening weekend of this year's Artisan Home Tour saw a 66 percent increase in traffic compared to 2015's first weekend. It wasn't just our home visitors that were all over the tour, the media covered the opening weekend from all angles. ICYMI: Ending Our Affiliation With BAM |
After 18 months of negotiations, BATC and BAM have failed to reach a meaningful compromise on the future relationship between our organizations. On Wednesday, June 8, 2016, the BAM Board rejected the BATC/BAM mediated agreement, ending any hope of moving ahead in a fairer and more productive partnership.On June 10, 2016, BATC’s Board of Directors unanimously passed a resolution directing BATC’s Executive Board to take all steps necessary to terminate BATC’s relationship with BAM, even if that means also terminating BATC’s relationship with NAHB. Special Session Watch Continues |
Legislative leaders have yet to come to an agreement on the parameters of a special session. They continue to meet this week. BATC is monitoring this closely as the tax, transportation, and bonding bills are negotiated. |

Join the BATC Leadership InstituteAfter a successful launch, BATC is now accepting applications for 16 students to enroll and participate in the next BATC Leadership Institute series – starting this September. The Leadership Institute is aimed at the up-and-coming next leaders within BATC member companies. Applications are being accepted through July 18. |
