We've invested $230,000 to upgrade and expand the free Wi-Fi network across Frankston City at 12 publicly accessible locations. This enables residents and visitors to have fast and free Wi-Fi accessibility while they enjoy Council services. Frankston Football Club lights up for bright futureThe new lights at SkyBus Stadium will be turned on for the first night game on Thursday, 25 March at 7.30pm. The $2.8 million lighting upgrade was made possible by funding from all three levels of government, with contributions of $850,000 from the Federal Government, $650,000 from the State Government and $1.3 million from Frankston City Council. Frankston FReeZA program hits right note with young peopleYoung people are gaining invaluable skills in organising music, arts and cultural events via the Frankston FReeZA Program. FReeZA is a Victorian Government initiative that supports young Victorians to get involved in their community by planning and running drug, alcohol and smoke-free events for other young people. 14 young people have recently joined the Frankston FReeZA Committee. Committee members will receive training and mentoring by local industry experts in event management, promotions and design, production and sound production.
