No matter the company size, if stakeholders no longer hold trust in a company or a CEO, the corporate reputational consequences are damaging, and can alter the future success of an organization.

So how can trust be built in business and CEOs?

The Calgary Chamber has partnered with Edelman, the world's largest PR firm, to present the findings of their 2016 Trust Barometer, a research report that shows a growing trust gap between informed and mass populations to the local business community.

Join us for a discussion on this timely research, and how companies can build trust that leads to growth and sustainability.

Digital tip: Is your business protected from ransomware?

Digital tip: Is your business protected from ransomware?

Imagine this: you try to pull up a certain file for your company, such as your profit and loss statement from the last quarter. Instead of seeing the file, however, you may see a message that says "Your computer is compromised. To see the file, you must pay $500 for software to decrypt your data."

This message is called ransomware, a type of malware that locks up your computer's files and allows cybercriminals to demand a "ransom" to unlock them. Businesses are often a favourite target of these attacks, and are usually delivered through a seemingly innocent email.

Learn more about how to protect your business from ransomware.
