Housing First: How Advocacy is Changing
If you haven't noticed, advocacy has transformed beyond traditional lobbying. One of the most dramatic game changers is the emergence of social media.
Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube have made politicians more accountable and accessible, while at the same time allowing campaigns to carefully craft and customize their candidates’ images based on rich sets of analytics in real time and at minimal cost.

New Student Chapter of BATC
Exciting News! The University of Minnesota has now created a student chapter with BATC and NAHB. There are eleven students in the chapter with six that are intersted in competing in the NAHB competition at IBS. We're very excited to have these students join the BATC and NAHB family!

We're pretty smart, the income gap is slowly tightening, and most of us drive to work. These are just a few of the intersting facts the latest U.S. Census American Community Survey revelaed. BATC has been hosting Remodeler Roundtables quarterly for the past year, and will be initiating Small Volume Builder RoundTables next month. These niche market gatherings are informal, low-key, yet chock-full of great information to discuss and share.
