Mayor Gail Sellers handed down a community-focused Budget for 2014/15 on July 2. Major highlights include parks and infrastructure projects.

The draft Boyne Island/Tannum Sands structure plan is ready for you to have your say. Feedback is welcome until Friday, July 25.
Pool closed for repairs
The Gladstone Aquatic Centre 50m swimming pool is closed for eight weeks for much-needed repair works to the tiles and access ladders.
Welcome morning tea
Come along to morning tea to find out more about the region's facilities and services on July 17 at Boyne Tannum Community Centre.
Briffney Park repairs
The Briffney Park pedestrian bridge, New Auckland, will be closed from July 23 to August 13 so the bridge decking and fencing can be replaced.
