With the change that New Zealand is exempt from the Commonwealth Government travel ban since Monday 19 April, the University has reviewed its travel arrangements. Due to the ongoing risk associated with potential COVID-19 outbreaks, at this time the University will keep in place its ban on international travel, including a ban on travel to New Zealand. Interstate travel for study purposes is still only permitted if you have a pressing need that cannot be reasonably fulfilled via virtual communications or other means. It requires the approval of your supervisor and your Executive Dean. For more information please visit the University Travel Hub. MyAdelaide Launch You may have heard that MyAdelaide launched in early April. This platform will progressively replace Access Adelaide as the University's student administrative portal during 2021. Through MyAdelaide, HDR students will be able to view milestones and due dates, progress, candidature details and supervisor information, while you will also benefit from a fresh new look with an intuitive interface and mobile accessibility. All features will be available in both MyAdelaide and Access Adelaide until the old system is decommissioned towards the end of the year. Both systems will contain links to features in the appropriate service, and these will be updated with each MyAdelaide release. Access the MyAdelaide platform via http://myadelaide.uni.adelaide.edu.au. Postgraduate Scholarship OpportunitiesThe Adelaide Graduate Centre maintains a searchable database of available scholarship opportunities (both full scholarships and supplementary scholarships), funded by both the University of Adelaide and external funding bodies. While the majority of available scholarships are awarded as part of the standard admission and scholarship rounds for domestic and international students, some are awarded at different times throughout the year, and may have a separate application process. University Library 2021 Visualise Your Thesis competition Registrations for this year’s Visualise Your Thesis competition are now invited!
