Cape Verde: Update: Main airport, country's airspace closed following attack that left eight soldiers, three civilians dead at army barracks

Media reports in the Cape Verde islands off West Africa say Cape Verde's main airport and the country's airspace have been closed after eight soldiers and three civilians were found dead at army barracks on Tuesday. The website of local newspaper A Semana says two of the dead civilians are from Spain

Security forces are on red alert at the international airport in Praia, the capital, and at the island's ports after the apparent attack.
