Changes to dump fees
Disposal of general waste in garbage bags, wheelie bins (up to 240 litres), or in car boots is now free at Council's waste facilities.

Liz Cunningham Park
Tenders for stage one of the $2 million Calliope Sports (Liz Cunningham) Park have been awarded for civil, landscape and building works.
Volunteers of all ages are invited to attend thank you celebrations during National Volunteer Week from May 11 to 17.
Tanks up for grabs
Council has 15 redundant water storage tanks available for not-for-profit groups to house non-potable water. Applications close June 30.
Workshops and tour
Join the free activities running at the Gallery & Museum on May 19 as part of Under Eights Week. Limited spaces available, bookings required.
Council will auction a 139Ha Deepwater property on May 8 to recover arrears on rates owed. The auction will be held in Miriam Vale.
Local government jobs
Council is recruiting for a senior engineer in Technical Services, a parks labourer and an exhibition and education officer.
