Dear Valued Members, Supporters and Friends,
It is my great pleasure to invite you attend the 2013 Employee Ownership Australia and New Zealand Annual Conference, to be held on Friday, 24 May 2013 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney.
We live in challenging times. The world of business is at the epicenter of capital and employment disruptions. In this election year, issues of workplace productivity, stakeholder engagement, succession planning and business plurality will be hotly debated. Employee ownership (EO) is an increasingly relevant and important part of the solutions on offer. No modern company can afford to be in the dark about the growing market segment of employee owned business.
Building on the success of the 2012 conference in Melbourne featuring Sir Stuart Hampson (John Lewis) I'm thrilled to announce that we will be joined by the UK government advisor on EO, Graeme Nuttall, as our keynote speaker. Graeme is the author of The Nuttall Report, which received the endorsement and backing of the UK government when in launched in 2012.
Employee ownership is experiencing phenomenal growth in the UK.
Reflecting on the US experience which has seen EO save the US government $US23 billion in unemployment savings, is our second international speaker, Loren Rodgers, CEO of the National Employee Ownership Centre.
Synthesizing these international perspectives in the Australian context is a stellar line up of industry leaders from government, business, law and finance. Read the full program
Hosted at premier conference venue, the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney, the 2013 national conference offers a packed day of insightful comment and analysis on employee ownership for human resources and business practitioners, government and council representatives, employment lawyers and finance professionals.
The day's program concludes with the much anticipated 2013 ESOP Awards Dinner. Join us to celebrate Australia's best exponents of employee ownership.
I hope you can join us on Friday, 24 May 2013 and look forward to your company.
