Housing First Fund Launches Vote Local Campaign
While much of the nation's attention has been on the Presidential race, this is only ONE of the ovals you have an opportunity to fill in this year. 134 state representatives, 67 state senators, 8 United States Representatives, 1 Minnesota Supreme Court Justice, 1 Constitutional Amendment, and numerous additional local offices and questions are on the ballots throughout Minnesota this year. That’s why Housing First Fund has launched the final phase of the 2016 campaign, “Vote Local.”

BATC to Serve on Residential Renovation Rules Advisory Committee
The Mn Department of Health (MDH) is convening an Advisory Committee as it continues a rules process which could bring custody of the federal RRP regulations to Minnesota. Today, the rule is managed and enforced out of the EPA regional office in Chicago. Leaders from BATC's Remodelers and Public Policy Committees have met with MDH representatives and will be involved in the advisory committee process as it moves forward. We are expecting a draft of the rule from MDH shortly. BATC will review and provide public comment prior to the commencement of the advisory group process. If you have questions on this, please contact James Vagle (james@batc.org) at 651.697. 7578.
