Paul Hazen is the Executive Director of the US Overseas Cooperative Development Council and global advocate for the cooperative and international aid movement. Paul will explore how the co-operative model can help reduce poverty and increase food security at two Sydney events on 11 September – a Leaders Breakfast and a Free Public Lecture.
"Co-operatives can play a critical role in linking the developing world’s small and medium scale farmers to markets. However, co-operatives are often not given full access to the resources needed to organize to achieve food security," Paul Hazen.
