Online registration for the conference has closed. Onsite registration is available during the conference, including full conference registration and one-day registration.
Registration opens on Wednesday, November 1 at noon in the Frisco Conference Center foyer.

APATX Mentorship Program Application Open
|

The application window for the 2018 Planning Mentorship Program is now open! Applications will be accepted through Friday, November 3, 2017. The purpose of the program is to bridge the professional gap between college graduates, members of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), and members of the American Institute of Certified Planners College of Fellows (FAICP).
The program is intended for professionals to gain and share valuable knowledge and insight into their planning careers from fellow professionals. Participants will be assigned to Mentorship Communities. These communities will meet throughout the year to network, share skills and knowledge, and participate in various activities that the group plans. Great Places in Texas - Call for 2018 Places Now Open!
The Call for 2018 APA Texas Great Places is now open and the deadline to submit your great place is February 2, 2018. Last year, the Chapter rolled out Great Places in Texas - its own version of APA's Great Places in America Program. Great Places in Texas will recognize the Lone Star’s Great Places – neighborhoods, streets, and public spaces – and celebrate how planning has played a vital role where we live, work, and play.

Exhbit Hall & Legacy Project
Exhibit Hall
Over 20 exhibitors from the private and public sectors will be in attendance at APATX17. New to this year are exhibitor awards, including the Conference Theme Award, Exhibitor Engagement Award, and Planning Exhibitor Award. Make sure you spend some time visiting and interacting with these great exhibitors! In addition, APATX will be doing a Facebook Live Tour on November 2 at 5:30pm!
Legacy Project
The 2017 Legacy Project is a competition between universities to develop concepts to reimagine downtown Frisco. The concept posters will be on display in the Exhibit Hall throughout the conference and the student teams will be presenting their concepts Friday morning at 10:15 in Rock Hill room. Be sure to stop by to view the students' work and vote for your favorite!
