From the editors...

The staff newsletter is produced every fortnight by the Internal Communications team so we can share news, announcements, selected events and some requests for help.

If you wish to communicate around the University, the newsletter is just one way to do that. Please check our Methods of Internal Communication webpage, and feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

The next newsletter will distributed on Wednesday 11 January - the deadline is 4pm on Friday 6 January.

Wishing you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Semester 2 reading lists

If you are responsible for a module running in Semester 2, please remember to assign importance to all readings and publish your list as soon as you can. The Library & Learning Centre supplies Blackwell’s bookshop with details of books included in online reading lists, and they are currently determining which books to stock when they visit the Main Library in January. Please remember they will only stock items if

  • the Semester 2 2016/17 list has been published (i.e. is no longer in draft form)
  • the items have been assigned an importance of Suggested, Essential or Recommended for student purchase (i.e. not further reading).

For help please email readinglists@dundee.ac.uk.
