When their community centre was threatened with closure, a group of Big Local residents in Wolverhampton worked together to put it under community ownership.

Big Local Film Festival
Last chance - booking closes tomorrow
The first ever Big Local Film Festival is almost here! Celebrate, watch and discuss films from over 20 Big Local areas, and brush up on film-making skills too. It's in Birmingham on Saturday 1 July. Get your skates on and book your free place online before the end of Friday 16 June.
Local Insight
A simple way to get data about your Big Local area
All chairs and reps of Big Local areas have been emailed with logins to the Local Insight website, which gives you access to open source data specific to your Big Local area, such as statistics about population, health, and the economy.
