International Women's DayMarch 8, International Women's Day is celebrated in many countries around the world. It is a day when women are recognized for their achievements and equal rights without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political. In Bulgaria, many celebrate Mother's Day on this date. And some of our students showed their love for their mothers by painting flower cards with the simple message: "I love you, mom!". Happy International Women's Day! Ski School in VitoshaIt was an exciting week for children in the Kindergarten who spent it skiing in Vitosha Mountain learning the basics of practicing winter sports, keeping their balance while skiing, using the ski drag, making turns, and going down the slopes safely. Ski School in RazlogOur G3 - G11 students also return today from their Ski School in Razlog. We hope that they enjoyed their week skiing on the slopes of the beautiful Pirin Mountain. School resumes following the regular schedules on Monday! Classroom ProjectsIt is a great pleasure strolling around the AEA classrooms and hallways! Each week our students are engaged in different classroom projects and theirs and their teachers' creativity is incredible. A quick walk around the classrooms and you may learn new things about: Metamorphosis, the Solar System, how to make a maze, fog formation, snowflakes, the plants, environmental protection, or the biographies of famous people. You may enjoy looking at the lovely paintings of flowers, the sun, and the colors of the coming spring, or engineering marvels such as a slide made of plastic and paper. And have you noticed the house from the movie Up! with the names of our K3 - K5 heroes in the balloons lifting it up and away in the air?! |
