AnnouncementsExpressions of Interest – Apply to Join a Law Society Committee or Renew Your Committee MembershipThe biennial 'spill' of Law Society committee members has commenced. If you wish to apply to join a Law Society committee, or if your current term expires at the end of December 2019 you will need to complete an online expression of interest form (EOI). If you are unsure whether your current term is expiring, please refer to recent committee agendas, or contact the Law Society staff member responsible for your committee. Please ensure that you submit your EOI by close of business on 27 September 2019. If an EOI is not received by the closing date you will be deemed not to be seeking reappointment. All EOIs will be considered by a working group of the Law Society's Council in October, following which recommendations for appointment will be reviewed and approved by Council. Appointments to committees will take effect from 1 January 2020. Supreme Court Registrar AppointmentThe Law Society congratulates Mark Fatharly, who has been appointed as a Supreme Court Registrar to commence on 16 September 2019.
