ISSM Job Opening: Methodologist

We are pleased to announce a job opening with the ISSM. 

Applications for the position of Systematic Review Methodologist will be accepted by the ISSM business office until January 31, 2021. 

The methodologist will assist the ISSM Executive Committee in creating systematic reviews for the International Consultation on Sexual Medicine.

Overt Hyperthyroidism Linked to Sexual Dysfunction

Sexual medicine professionals should screen for hyperthyroidism, the authors of a recent Journal of Sexual Medicine paper recommend. 

Their study, a systematic review and meta-analysis involving 320,000 people, found that patients with overt hyperthyroidism are more than twice as likely to have sexual dysfunction compared to the general population.

A new approach to female-to-male gender affirmation surgery is the subject of our website's latest research summary.
