Last day to withdraw from Semester 2 subject

The last day to withdraw from a standard Semester 2 subject without incurring a fail grade on your academic record is Friday 27 September.

Further information about managing your enrolment is available on the Amending your Study Plan web page.

Contemplating overseas study during summer or winter?

Students who meet the eligibility requirements for study abroad can apply to complete a short term study opportunity during our summer or winter semester. This can allow students who would have difficulty completing a standard exchange (i.e. due to required subjects not being available overseas or financial constraints) to complete overseas study during their degree.

A study abroad must be preapproved by the Environments and Design Student Centre at least 6 weeks before the beginning the commencement of the overseas study. Students who complete a study abroad without preapproval will not receive credit for that study.

GAP 2013 Reykjavík Exhibition

Date: Monday 14 - Thursday 24 October
Time: 9.00am - 5.00pm
Venue: Wunderlich Gallery, 757 Swanston

GAP, Global Architecture Profiling is run by a group of Bachelor of Environments students aiming to contribute to the discourse around design by exchanging cross-cultural ideas with contemporary designers around the world. This opportunity for dialogue between students and practicing designers from cities across the globe, culminates in an annual exhibition and catalogue.

Now in its fourth year, GAP showcases the work of six architecture firms based in Reykjavík, Iceland. We are given an insight to the process and approaches to architectural design in Iceland in contrast to Melbourne. Together, the catalogue and exhibition provides an opportunity to learn about global architecture and the people behind them beyond face value.
