Local businesses learn how to take off

Over 110 local businesses learnt how to take off this morning, at an exclusive event with Western City and Aerotropolis Authority CEO, Sam Sangster.

Camden Council, in partnership with Camden Region Economic Taskforce (CRET), hosted the business breakfast this morning (Thursday 14 November) at Council’s Administration Building. It provided attendees information about the opportunities available to them, to grow and expand their business, as part of the Western Sydney Airport.

The guest of honour, Mr Sangster, said the 22nd century city being built around the Western Sydney Airport will have a big impact on surrounding areas, including Camden. “We are attracting new industries to the Western Parkland City to create 200,000 knowledge jobs over the next 20 years,” Mr Sangster said.  “This investment will bring the best jobs closer to home for people who live in Camden, so they no longer have to look to the east.”
