When the weather shows its ugly rainy self and looks to ruin the day... the team moves to 'what now' mode. The event planner looks at the boss, the boss looks at the weather forecast, the greenkeeper tells the boss the greens will be better tomorrow, the live streaming team says it's a good day for ducks... and players pack a jacket! It buckets down, the boss said "thank goodness we have a reserve day, we're moving to Remuera and playing on carpet!" Dare we say it, the reserve day produced thrilling matches - by the end of the day, we had six new titleholders celebrating their wins. At the same time, teams from Waikato and Bay of Plenty played their game. Next up was Waikato. They won the first set 6-4, they were down 2-3 in the second set after two ends so they used their Power Play and picked up four shots giving them a 10–3 lead after three ends. Waikato used their Power Play on the fourth end and Maria drew the shot with her last bowl giving The Originals an 11-3 lead and the game - yeah!!
