2. A further 9 cases of ASF detected in Germany

Germany's Agriculture Ministry has confirmed 9 additional cases in wild boars in the eastern state of Brandenburg; bringing the total to 29 since first identified on 10 September.

Recalled black fungus has been linked to a Salmonella outbreak that has sicked dozens of people over 10 states.

4. Listeria found at site of sandwich producer for years

The factory in England linked to an illness in 2017 was contaminated by Listeria for three years, according to a report into the incident.
