Click here "Looking back across the things we’ve learned this year, what ties our various projects together is a focus on the real lived experience of people who are struggling to save" Welcome to the first NEST Insight e-newsletter. We’d like to send you these every month or so, to ensure you don’t miss our research and events news. Please do forward these onto colleagues and encourage them to sign up. We want to share our work as widely as possible so that what we’ve learned can help inform and support others who are similarly working to help improve the outcomes of defined contribution savers, and help those who are yet to start saving, in the UK and around the globe. Looking back across the things we’ve learned this year, what ties our various projects together is a focus on the real lived experience of people who are struggling to save. Saving doesn’t happen in a vacuum, and we believe that we won’t help people achieve this goal without understanding the barriers they face and testing interventions that can help overcome them. Below we’ve picked out our highlights from 2018, and look ahead to 2019, which will be a busy and exciting year for our programme. On behalf of the team at NEST Insight, I’d like to wish you all a very happy 2019. Matthew Blakstad, interim director of NEST Insight
