Click here ![]() News from Cove Park - July 2020We are pleased to confirm that Cove Park will begin to reopen and resume its residency programme from Monday 7 September 2020. To ensure we can take the best possible care of our residents and staff this will be a phased reopening and the site may not operate at full capacity for some weeks. These plans are of course subject to any revisions to government guidance, but we are delighted to be able to begin to welcome artists, organisations and friends back to Cove Park this year. Please read Cove Park's full Reopening Statement here. Although this has been a very challenging year for us all, 2020 is Cove Park's 20th anniversary year and we are delighted to share news of special sets of Limited Edition Postcards published to mark this occasion. Each set includes 20 postcards featuring commissioned images of the site, landscape, accommodation, studios and the Artists Centre, celebrating Cove Park's development over its 20 year history. These beautiful sets are available for sale now. Please scroll down for images and further information. Finally, we can announce that our Director, Julian Forrester, will retire in December this year. Julian has worked for Cove Park since its launch in 2000, initially as an advisor to Cove Park's founders Eileen and Peter Jacobs and developing internationally acclaimed Performing Arts programmes before becoming Director in 2009. In addition to creating a range of wonderful new residency projects for national and international artists, Julian also oversaw the development of the new Artists Centre in 2016 and has made an enormous contribution to the character and reputation of Cove Park. We would like to take this first opportunity to thank Julian and we are so pleased he will be with us during the latter part of our 20th anniversary year. Julian's retirement means that Cove Park is now seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer. Further information is available below.
