Important clarification: to serve in the role of Associate Director of Academic Programs, one need not have previous administrative experience, it is just a preference. Joan McCain to be Honored at Outstanding AlumKnights Awards Reception - March 2
Join the UCF College of Sciences as we honor this year's award winners, including NSC's very own Joan McCain. Enjoy beverages provided by Red Cypress Brewery, cocktails and a buffet dinner by Tim Webber Events followed by the awards program. Black and gold business attire are suggested. Tickets are $30 each and advanced registration is required. The event is from 6 - 9 p.m Thursday, March 2 and will be held at the

Tim Sellnow named to International Food Information Council Board of Trustees
Dr. Tim Sellnow has been named to the International Food Information Food Council board of trustees. Amazon Web Service (AWS) - Scientific Computing Immersion Day 1 Feb. 22
UCF will host an AWS Scientific Computing Immersion Day where AWS specialists will conduct training sessions for faculty, post-doc and student researchers interested in computational science and engineering as well as big data analytics. Through a series of hands-on bring your own device (BYOD) sessions, researchers will be able to explore the potential use of AWS technologies to advance their research interests. The event will run from 9 a.m to 5 p.m Wednesday, Feb. 22, in TA 117.
