Do we return to the farm with a deal or does Kevin make us cry?
You'll have to tune in on November 21, 2012 to find out for sure, but in the meantime you can guess what happens via our Facebook poll! If you didn't know about our Dragons' Den adventure before this e-newsletter, I (Brad) went to Toronto with my amazing wife and company co-founder Rebecca to slay (or be scorched by) the Dragons from CBC's Dragons' Den in May 2012. We've managed to make the TV cut, which isn't easy, and now we are set to make our national television debut. Tune in on November 21, 2012 at 8:00PM (8:30PM in NFLD) to see the results.
In the meantime, be sure to keep in touch with us via Facebook and Twitter. We're also going to be holding a Dragons' Den viewing party in Alberta's Peace Country (with a live Google+ Hangout You Tube feed), so watch your inbox for further details in the days to come.

We're a CBC Dragons' Den Game Changer!
|
 |
|
We were also selected as one of a handful of pitches in Dragons' Den history (all seven seasons worth) to be considered a Game Changer. To learn about the contest, which was sponsored by Ford Canada,
click here. Or skip the formalities and watch our game changer video above...well sort of above. We couldn't find a way to embed the video (we are farmers after all), so you'll have to link through to the CBC website by clicking the screen shot. The link works, it is just a bit clunky....kind of like using hay wire to patch up the combine when you are in a pinch to get off the last acre of wheat!

It is all smiles at this point in the pitch...about 3 seconds in that is! I'm just concentrating on not tripping at this point.

I admit that I may have had trouble getting Arlene into her planting gear. As usual Rebecca saved the day!

We can't say if we got a deal, but we did manage to get two Dragons into our portable forest to plant some trees!
