Service Action: The Inaugural Autohaus Hamilton Porsche Driving Adventure

From the Saturday morning meet-up at Autohaus Hamilton, through quiet drivers’ roads and the picturesque scenery of the Snowy Mountains and back again, our Tour of the Snowy Mountains was a great success.

We’re already looking forward to our next Porsche adventure and have kicked off our pre-production for the tour. We have a few destinations planned out and would love to hear which you’re most interested in. Take a look at the options below and let us know by email or on Facebook. And if there’s somewhere amazing that we haven’t listed, set us straight!

  • North Coast – Bucketts Way/Thunderbolts Way
  • Hunter Valley
  • Bathurst/Mudgee/Orange
  • Snowy Mountains

To close we want to throw it over to our friends, as they tell the tale of our adventure much better than we could.

“Who would’ve thought that a gentle fang along quiet country roads could be so much fun?”

“The grins from all of us who participated are a testament to a great experience. My face muscles are still aching. All compliments go to David and the Autohaus Team for putting together a great package of driving, accommodation and social engagement.”

"As a previous Porsche owner now gone to the dark side, thanks for keeping me a part of the family and inviting me along on this awesome experience. I'd really love to do it again some time."

"******* brilliant mate! Don’t change a ******* thing, it was ******* awesome!"

Autohaus Sales Car of the Month

1997 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe

This matching numbers car is in absolutely beautiful condition and the current owner has spent a small fortune converting it from tiptronic to its current manual format. Factory parts were used throughout and the car now has a refurbished gearbox with new synchros, new 993 RS clutch and lightweight flywheel.

All of this work was carried out by factory trained technicians and has been done to a very high standard. It now drives like any manual 993 and that lightweight flywheel really helps the engine spin up quickly.

993 Carrera Ss are arguably the most sought after of all Porsches and one in this condition with this level of work done it won't be around long!

New at Autohaus Hamilton Parts

Stop!  Just stop!  911 SC and 3.2 Carrera models are now reaching an age where brake calipers require TLC.  Of course, we carry caliper rebuild kits in stock, but there is an easier way.  We have brand new ATE brake calipers for SC and Carrera models.  These are the OEM calipers, so they are a very easy way to restore your car’s brakes to the way they were the day your car roared out of the showroom.

In other news, we've been seeing increasing demand for 356 service and of course, parts ever since Steve Morton closed shop.  Our inventory of 356 parts has been growing steadily, and now includes replacement distributors, ignition and service parts, and link pin and king pin kits.

Get in contact with James at Autohaus Parts on (02) 9905 0096, via our Contact Us form or by email on parts@autohaushamilton.com.au.

Short Film: Urban Outlaw

This stunning video is about half an hour long, so you’ll need to set aside some free time in which to enjoy it, but it’s a brilliant story. Stunningly-shot and edited; moving and inspiring; it really gets to the core of motoring passion, and the love of Porsches, and it does it through the lens of a thoroughly interesting and passionate man.

Pimpin’ Our Ride Part Two

Cayennes are good looking cars out of the factory; they’ve got the charm of a big chunky four-wheel-drive, with a sophisticated and speedy Porsche edge. We wanted to take ours a little further. We wanted to take an already rare car, the manual version of the Cayenne, and give it some of our individual style and expertise and a unique and stylish look.
