Still time to get involved in Fairtrade Fortnight 2019"Cocoa farmers in Côte d’Ivoire are surviving on less than 75 pence a day. That’s not even half what they need for essentials like their children’s schooling, family medical bills and clean water." - the Fairtrade Foundation. Fairtrade Fortnight is well underway, but there are still plenty of ways to get involved and raise awareness like signing this petition, supporting Scottish-based suppliers of Fairtrade cocoa and chocolate using this suppliers map and sharing the message on social media using these resources. Call for evidence on SDGs progress in Scotland The Scottish Government and Scotland’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Network are working in partnership to secure the voice of civil society and other stakeholders in Scotland’s contribution to a UK-wide progress review on the SDGs. A call for evidence has been published along with a discussion paper on Scotland’s current performance. Even though the first deadline for evidence has passed, you can still submit your views by 29 March to inform longer-term discussions and a potential Scottish Supplementary Review. Support for Venezuelan Migrants in ColombiaFunding to support refugees displaced from Venezuela will be made available from the Scottish Government Humanitarian Emergency Fund (HEF).
