Vale – Niel Black, Acting Chairman, Co-operatives Victoria
    
Niel Black, Acting Chairman of Co-operatives Victoria and a long time and vocal advocate for co-operative structures has died in a tragic farm accident. Niel was highly regarded as a community leader and last year he was recognised as an inaugural inductee on the Great South West Dairy Industry Honour Board. Niel maintained a life-long commitment to co-operatives, arguing they protected the interests of producers and returned benefits for regional community investment. Our thoughts are with his family and colleagues at this sad time.
