While we are in Atlanta for the APA Conference, we are having a Texas Chapter Reception on Monday night. Please click here to print the invitation and bring it with you to the reception. The reception is free, but your ticket can be exchanged at the door for two free drink tickets. Come join us for sliders and beer. Cash bar will also be available.

The Texas Reception location will be from 7 to 9:00 pm at Max Lager’s Wood-fired Grill and Brewery, located at 320 Peachtree Street N.E., within a convenient walking distance from the conference hotels.

Congratulations to Dave Gattis, FAICP, Planning Director for the City of Benbrook, for his election to be the Chair of the Divisions Council of the American Planning Association. This two-year term of office will make Dave the national Chair of the Divisions Council, which is one of the five major components of the American Planning Association.  He will also be serving as the Divisions Council Liaison to the APA national Board of Directors, which is a nonvoting member of the APA Board.
