Welcome!

Dear Readers,

COVID-19 has thrown a fair amount of uncertainty into the current and upcoming application seasons. We will endeavor to keep you updated on changes/updates that might affect your application.

Committee Interview Scheduling Now Open

The Pre-health Committee will be conducting interviews remotely via Zoom this year. We are now scheduling interviews. You will need 2 letters collected within veCollect and a completed Biosketch to schedule an interview.

Please call either 814-863-3889 or 814-865-7620 to schedule an appointment.

*If your letter writers are having a hard time submitting letters to veCollect, please have them email their letter directly to Ms. Lauck at lmj2@psu.edu so she can add it to veCollect directly.

April MCAT Cancellation - Message from AAMC

Your health and safety are our top priority, and your appointment has been placed on hold. When you log into the MCAT Registration System, you will see your current appointment held with the date September 30, 2020 at Pearson VUE Test center and the country of your appointment. This is not your appointment date; it is a placeholder until you make changes to your exam date.

All MCAT dates may now be cancelled with a full refund or rescheduled for free.

For the most current information about MCAT administrations, please visit the MCAT Coronavirus FAQ page and follow us on Twitter at @AAMC_MCAT.

ETS now offering remote GRE testing

GOOD NEWS! To meet the needs of students who are unable to take the GRE® General Test at a test center due to public health concerns, ETS is temporarily offering a GRE General Test at home option. The test is identical in content, format and on-screen experience to the GRE General Test taken at a test center. It is taken on your own computer at home and is monitored by a human proctor online through ProctorU®

Reminder about Fee Reduction for the GRE: www.ets.org/s/gre/pdf/... And www.ets.org/gre/subject/about/fees/reduction

Be sure to make time for self-care! We miss you and hope you are well!
