New Friday Sundowner at Malmalling Vineyard

Every Friday in June 
Situated in a beautiful location adjacent to John Forrest National Park, Malmalling Vineyard produces red wines from Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Petit Verdot and white wines from Chardonnay and Verdelho.

Malmalling has just introduced the Friday Sundowner.  Enjoy a drink on a Friday afternoon with friends while watching the sun go down, overlooking a stunning vista. Snacks provided.

Glen Forrest Artisan Market

Glen Forrest's very own community Artisan Market will be held at the Glen Forrest Sports Club. 

The Market will feature local artists, crafts, community groups, food trucks, musicians, face painting and much more!

Mundaring Sunday Markets

Sunday 11 June
Mundaring Sunday Markets offer an array of stalls including seasonal fruit and veg, jewellery, scarves, bags, clothes, a plethora of craft items, garden ornaments, plants, soap, honey, chutneys and preserves - the list goes on!

Forge Farm Riding School - Magical Winter's KEP Track Trail Ride

Sunday 18 June
To celebrate the Winter’s Solstice Forge Farm Riding School will be hosting a guided trail ride from Chidlow to Wooroloo.

Leave your car at the riding school in Chidlow then experience the beautiful KEP Track on horseback riding to Fettler’s Crossing in Wooroloo. Sit back and relax with a glass of wine or soft drink and a baked spud (choice of toppings), cooked on an open fire, while enjoying live music from Cobwebs Folk Band, before being driven back to your car at the end of the evening.

Arrive at Forge Farm Riding School, 1830 Forge Drive, Chidlow at 2.45pm.  Ride takes approximately 2 hours.

Darlington Bushwalk Series

The second walk in the Darlington Bushwalk Series titled 'Statham and Zig Zag'.

The walk will be mainly on established bush trails and tracks, but there will be some connecting roads to walk . The walk includes excellent bushlands and some steepish hills.

Bibbulmun Track Event - Pubs, Pumps and Pipes

Explore the history and controversy surrounding the construction of the Mundaring Weir, the pump stations and the 560km pipeline with our expert guide from the National Trust.

WAMBA Cross Country State Series (XCO) - Race 6 - Forsyth's Mill

The WA Cross Country State Series consists of seven races organised by various WA mountain bike clubs and promoters.  Race six is to be held at Forsyth's Mill Mountain Bike Track - a 6km circuit in Sawyers Valley.

Tory Minister Richard Willey (yes, smut fans, he’s Dick Willey!) is in a London hotel intent on consummating an affair with Labour party secretary Jane Worthington.

The initial complication is that there’s a corpse in the room. Alerting the police could lead to scandal so the body has to be disposed of. Willey calls on one of his underlings George Pigden to help him clear up the mess.  The ensuing shenanigans include the secretary’s husband, Pigden’s mother’s nurse, the hotel manager and a venal waiter
