Aussie summers often involve the humble backyard swimming pool, however it is necessary to ensure appropriate measures are in place to prevent drowning related injuries. It is a great time to share the Know Injury toolkit, which provides information, resources and guidance to support Local Governments, health and community professionals in increasing community awareness of the importance of preventing drowning among

YACWA: National Principles for Child Safe Organisations Survey The Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA) wants you to have your say on how well the community sector is faring in making our system the safest it can be for children by implementing the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. The survey closes on Friday 7 February.
New Stay On Your Feet® Campaign Launching in Albany - This March Injury Matters is launching the latest campaign for the Stay On Your Feet® program, Improve Your Health, at the Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre on 4 March 2020. This free event will include a range of activities that encourage older adults to make simple changes, which can improve a person’s health and wellbeing and promote active ageing.
