Peyronie's Disease: Meds and Traction Could be a Good Combination
Using medication along with traction therapy might be a viable - and cost-effective - approach for treating Peyronie's disase, suggests a recent Sexual Medicine study.
Researchers worked with 46 men with Peyronie's disease, a condition in which plaques (hardened areas of scar tissue) form just below the skin's surface. The plaques cause the penis to bend.
Every day for six months, the men took one of two drugs and used a penile traction device.
