Dear Treasurer

INSURANCE RENEWAL – 2016-2017

As per last year, we are again offering you the opportunity to pay your insurance premiums on a Quarterly basis. The same process will apply this year in that you will be able to pay your insurance premiums on a Quarterly direct debit basis if you request it.

A QUARTERLY direct debit option will be made available to assist those Congregations to fund their premiums. However a 5% surcharge will added to the annual premium for any congregation that takes up this option of payment. The surcharge will not apply if the premium is paid annually.

Please remember once a selection is made (ie to pay annually or quarterly) this will apply for the rest of the insurance year. Changes can only be made to swap between quarterly or annual payments at the start of a new insurance year, provided written notification is received by Insurance Services. In the absence of instructions, renewals will continue with the payment method you have previously selected.

If you wish to pay quarterly, please complete the premium payment request form as well as the Quarterly Direct Debit Request form and return via email or to

If you choose this option, the first instalment will be deducted on the last business day of December 2016 followed by March 2017, June 2017 with the final instalment being debited in September 2017.
If this advice is not received by the above date your payment option will default to ANNUAL.

If you are currently paying Quarterly, and wish to change to Annual please complete the premium payment request form accompanying this letter. No surcharge will be applicable, and you will receive the renewal invoice amount in due course.

If you are currently paying Annually, you do not need to respond to this letter. No surcharge will be applicable, and you will receive the renewal invoice amount in due course.

We will continue to work closely with our broker and the insurers in an effort to maintain the premiums at an appropriate level without compromising our cover. We have been able to achieve minimal premium increases over the years, and we will continue to review our processes to minimise costs to you.

If you have any questions in relation to this matter, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,

Tony Phillips
