Caravan Industry Association Victoria Recognises Excellence in the RV Sector. 

On Friday 8 July, 2016, the Caravan Industry Association Victoria, (CIA VIC), hosted its prestigious annual Hall of Fame Industry Awards and Gala event held at Melbourne Crown Palladium.

The theme was set, dining in the outback under the Southern Stars with over 550 people in attendance, a great fit for the Caravan Industry.

Proudly sponsored by the Caravan Industry Association of Australia and AL-KO International, the awards recognise the achievements and excellence of CIA VIC members.

“The Association has a long tradition of recognising people who have contributed so much to the industry, and our prestigious Hall of Fame awards recognise both past and present pioneers of our industry,” says Rob Lucas CEO of CIA VIC.

CIA VIC have recognised four well deserving pioneers and legends of the Caravan industry and inducted them into the 2016 Hall of Fame. These inductees have made significant achievements within their buisness and are well respected within the Caravan Industry today. 

We congratulate the 2016 Hall of Fame Inductees:- Keith Winser, Mike Collins, Tony Briant, and Joan Tullo.

“With nominations assessed by four independent judges, the awards recognise members for their outstanding business and personal performance throughout the past 12 months, and take into account a wide range of criteria”, continues Rob Lucas.

CIA Victorian Business Awards best Manufacturer, Dealer/Retailer, Service and Repairer, Industry Awards -Young Achiever and Service to Industry awards were also recognised on the night.

The Caravan Industry Association Victoria would like to congratulate all the 2016 finalists and winners:-

George Pantazopoulos Young Achiever Award went to Ryan Johannsson from Goldstream RV.
Service to Industry Award went to Sven Mannfolk from AL-KO International.
Excellence in Dealer/Retailer of the Year Award went to Award RV Superstore.
Excellence in Service & Repair Award went to Advantage Caravan Repairs.
Excellence in Manufacturing Award was shared by AL-KO International and New Age Caravans.

Also acknowledged on the night was Caravan World magazine’s managing editor, Max Taylor, who received the Media Award in Recognition for Outstanding Commitment and Promotion to the Caravan Industry.
