No Images? Click here Welcome to our first ever newsletter. As Media Partners, Inc. (MPI) turns 19 this month, we thought it was time to put pen to paper – or keyboard to email – and provide a snapshot of what’s happening here at MPI, in our industry, and at the bar. We have our own way of “setting the bar higher" in marketing. So read to the end and you will be rewarded with our return to CLASSIC COCKTAILS in our BRANDTENDER finale! But first up: MPI. In 2019, it’s all about the BRAND. As a team, we tackled our own brand and messaging over the past year. We took our own advice. We rolled up our sleeves and did some work on ourselves. We found that our culture was strong, our dedication to hard work and client service was intact. Our partnerships and expertise continued to grow. But, our creative materials were “stale,” “old school,” even “stuffy” to quote a few. Blue was boring. Swooshes were so yesterday. And wait: “Media Partners” – are we only a media company? If so, what exactly does that mean? So, after internal focus groups, externals surveys, on-site polling and professional feedback – we are now MPI. Many already referred to us as MPI, but now it’s official. As a full-service agency since 2009, it was time that a shorter name actually represented our expanded services. Leave it to marketing to be coy! No cosmic shift, no big TA-DA. Just a modern look to freshen our company. Same culture. Same people. Moving Forward. We encourage you to read BrandStorm with an eye on the future. We lead with our partners and our work, and we encourage you to engage with our insights and our people. And, in true MPI style, we ask that you join us in celebrating. Cheers to 2019! MPI BUZZAt MPI, media will always be at the core of what we do. We know how important media selection and timing are when planning your advertising campaigns. We work with seasoned account executives that keep us well informed on trends, efficiencies and opportunities. This month, we thank Meg Hill at National CineMedia for this interesting tidbit that makes cinema advertising a seriously worthy consideration. Mark your Calendars! The BRANDTENDER is in...It seems like all that has been on our minds here at MPI is being refreshed and rebranded. Moving ahead, looking forward, reaching out and engaging all of our strengths to be the best brand we can be – it all sounds like one big metaphor for "out with the old and in with the new.” While that might be true for a lot of things in this fast-paced industry of ours, who said the classics can't be just as refreshing? Classic cocktails are refreshing on their own, but the histories behind them read like vignettes of adventure, intrigue, and moxie (as the classic, cool cats might say). Even the regular, old grit of the human spirit becomes a wonder through the lens of a cocktail's conception. As a new mainstay on our newsletter and the MPI Blog, we are bringing the refreshing recipes and intriguing histories to you! Click below to have your day refreshed.
