Giving a Boost, Pitt Med Student Mentorship Program
As part of our work, we run a free, student-led mentorship program that connects current premed students with Pitt Med student mentors. We understand how stressful and overwhelming this process can be, and our goal is to ease that burden by offering timely, personalized advice from students who have recently gone through it.
When students sign up, they’ll be matched with a mentor who shares similar experiences or interests. Mentors can help with reviewing applications, navigating secondaries, preparing for interviews, and more. We also host weekly office hours where students can join and have any of their questions answered by current PittMed students (including how to prepare for the application throughout undergrad, MCAT, the application process, interviews, and anything else they may have questions on!).
If your students are interested in signing up for 1-on-1 mentoring or attending our office hours, they can fill out this form:
1-on-1 mentor signup: Mentee signup
Office hours: Office hour mailing list

Jobs and Internship Opportunities
Know undergraduate students or recent graduates who are searching for jobs or internships?
The Psychology Job and Internship Opportunities Blog was developed to provide information about psychology-related job and internship opportunities to undergraduate students and recent graduates. While it's certainly not a comprehensive resource, I hope that it can be one helpful tool for students searching for jobs and internships! The blog is updated regularly, and students who would like to stay up-to-date on new job and internship opportunities can subscribe to the blog. There are a lot of job/internship application deadlines coming up in February and March, so this might be a particularly timely moment to share the blog with your students!
