Dear

Our thoughts and best wishes go out to the communities that are affected by the devastating bushfires across NSW and QLD.

We hope the fire fighters and volunteers battling the blazes remain safe with successful outcomes in all regions where they're working and who need rain.

What's new?

Registration is now open for March 2020 events:

What you may have missed?

The second annual Cardiac Imaging in Cardiomyopathies and Heart Failure symposium was held a couple of weeks ago, this time in Sydney. Practitioners travelled from SA, NT, QLD, VIC, ACT and across NSW to attend this auspicious event to learn from nineteen (19) cardiologist and sonographer presenters.

Feedback included:

  • Thanks to all the presenters for the full day of updated knowledge and different opinions.
  • The content was very informative and interesting
  • Good quality speakers with presentations both relevant and informative
  • Really liked the breadth of experience and application - especially including the sonographers for tips

We thank all the presenters who volunteered their time and shared their expertise with an audience keen to learn. ASUM also thanks Actelion, Novartis and Sanofi for supporting continuing professional educational events such as this.

Where will we go next? Find out next year!

Our second annual South West Soundwaves Retreat was held last weekend in Bunbury at the Dolphin Discovery Centre and was well supported by many local and Perth practitioners.

A big thank you to our excellent presenters Prof. Jan Dickinson and Michelle Pedretti who took time out of their busy schedule to present a full and interactive O&G program.

We received lots of positive feedback regarding the day, including:

  • Such an amazing seminar - well worth the drive and the venue was terrific.
  • Prof Dickinson is an excellent, knowledgeable speaker.
  • Jan has excellent knowledge and her presentations were very engaging
  • Stunning venue and expert content!

Thank you to Natalie Clements and Michelle Horn for convening, making sure the day ran smoothly, and our appreciation of GE Healthcare's support for this event.

ASUM looks forward to returning to Bunbury again next year.
