Did you know? When you graduate from the Master of Teaching (Secondary), you will be able to apply for provisional registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) as a teacher. If you'd like to teach outside of Victoria or overseas, you can check the registration requirements with the relevant bodies. The learning areas you study in the degree won't limit your opportunities in terms of what you are qualified to teach in secondary schools. While you will have more expertise in your two learning areas, you may still go on to teach other subject areas across a number of year levels. This depends on the needs and preferences of the school you would be working at, and your own experience.
