What’s happening in our community
Thursday 16 September 2021
From our CEO , Frank Zaknich

The return of lockdown is another heavy blow to our community, but we can take some comfort in knowing our city is resilient and ready to spring back into economic action as soon as this latest lockdown ends.

Message from Mayor Kevin Mack

Construction of our new Riverside Precinct is about to start. It means a reduction in parking spaces at the Albury Swim Centre but we ask you to be patient while we deliver this amazing improvement to our riverfront.

Collecting Covid memories for posterity

Covid-19 has changed our lives, globally and locally. For those of us on the border, it goes without saying that it's been particularly taxing. But the pandemic is also an important historical event and our LibraryMuseum team is documenting it for future generations. If you have a photograph, poem, artwork, object or personal story to share, please click the button below to play your part in telling this challenging story.

Services to close but we're here to help

Less than a week after reopening our services and facilities, we're once again required to close some facilities to meet public health guidelines. Our Kiewa Street offices will close but our friendly Customer Service team will still be on hand to help you by phone or email.

Helping hand with healthy hampers

The effects of Covid-19 restrictions have seen a big spike in the number of local people who are struggling to feed their families. To ease the pressure, we're working with Albury Wodonga FoodShare to provide those doing it tough with hampers of healthy food. They're available by appointment from our community centres, Glenecho and Mirambeena.
