Improve Your Productivity and Bottom Line Through CME’s Technology Assessment Program

Manufacturers that invest in advanced technologies have a considerably better growth outlook than their non-adopting counterparts. They are more productive and more profitable. Despite this, based on recent CME research, Canadian companies are falling further behind their global competitors in technology adoption. This is largely driven by uncertainty over the benefit and the return on investment (ROI), according to our members.

A SOLUTION FOR SMEs

To help overcome this investment lag and business uncertainty, CME is pleased to launch the Technology Assessment Program (TAP) in partnership with the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario. TAP will provide qualifying manufacturers in southern Ontario with the following support:

  • Up to $25,000 (in reimbursable funds) to conduct a customized technology assessment of your production and operational processes.
  • Access to qualified assessors who have taken CME’s extensive Qualified Service Provider (QSP) training that is based on years of in-field experience
  • Detailed analysis on how to improve your operations through process improvements and the adoption of new technologies including hardware, software, and cloud computing
  • Connections to Canada’s leading manufacturers of advanced manufacturing technologies who will provide your company with information and expertise on the right equipment for your needs
  • Information and guidance on the latest investment support programs and sources of funding to facilitate your investment decisions and training of your

Funding will be available beginning in April 2020. Community information sessions will be held across southern Ontario starting in March.
