SVI officially recertifies Sinzer softwareSocial Value International review digital products and software and provide accreditation if they align with the Social Value Principles. We are very happy to announce that Social Value International organisational member Sinzer have recertified their software for the next two years meeting the stringent criteria against the Social Value Principles.
Sinzer, one of Social Value International’s most longstanding members, provides a solution for social impact management that allows organisations to treat social impact management as seriously as financial management. If you are interested in our software accreditation services, here is where to find more information.
The Understanding and use of the Social Value Principles 2018 survey is now openAt Social Value International we are calling for a change across all sectors. It is a long established practice that organisations think only in terms of the financial value they create. We want to introduce the inclusion of the 'social' value organisations and individuals create.
We believe that widening the definition of value from the traditional understanding of value as simply monetary worth, to include social value, will vastly improve decision making, reducing inequality and damage to the environment.
Social Value International members, with representation across all sectors, use the Social Value Principles in order to account for, measure and maximise the social value they create.
We are conducting our annual survey in order to learn about how the Social Value Principles are used in practice. This is so that we can gain an understanding of where we can better support organisations to record their social value, interpret the results and make decisions that truly take into account their influence on society and the environment.
Global Value Exchange updated with recent data about gender inequality The Gender Development Index (GDI) measures the gender gap in levels of health, knowledge and living standards for 160 countries.
The GDI is based on the same robust methodology as the Human Development Index (HDI), allowing more informed decisions to be made to eradicate gender inequality.
The GII measures the human development costs of gender inequality to reproductive health, empowerment and economic status. Like the GDI, the index is based on HDI methodology and can provide useful insight into gender inequality.
