Freshers' Week starts on Saturday

New students will be on campus from Saturday 2nd September, and there are lots of activities planned. But most of these are not just for new students - take a look at the Welcome Events webpage, and join in. Perhaps this is the year you'll start a new sport, join a society etc.

If you come across students looking lost, check where they should be on the Welcome webpage.

Accessing the main library

From 1st September 2017, there will be a new automatic gate entry system in the Main Library, to improve security in the building and reduce bottlenecks at the entrance. There will no longer be manual checks of ID cards.

You will need to scan your student ID card at the gates to enter and exit the building.

For any questions please contact the Library and Learning Centre.

Student news: An Oriental Summer

This summer over 100 students from China travelled the 4,700 miles to come to Dundee for a fortnight… and 30 students from Dundee did the same trip but in reverse.

Chinese students from five different universities came to Dundee this summer to take part in our annual summer school. We gave them the chance to get a taster of what it’s like to be a student at Dundee. Their activities were based within the School of Science &Engineering, but they also got to sample the School of Medicine and Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design. Read the story.
