Keine Bilder? Webversion COMPETENCE IN PAPER NewsletterOctober 2021 From the officeOn September 17th the first meeting of regional group south of ZELLCHEMING and VPM Munich took place. The meeting happened in a special format after the association ZELLCHEMING and VPM Munich decided to merge many small regional groups into four large ones. At the beginning, the new board members were elected. From now on, the ZELLCHEMING Regional Group South will be led by a dual leadership, Siegfried Fuchs and Thomas Villforth. Uwe Scheit was appointed as secretary. The conference was entitled "Press work for dry contents >70% Implementing Roadmap 2050" and attracted around 40 participants to the Voith Arena in Heidenheim. After the welcome by the board members of ZELLCHEMING and VPM Munich, Prof. Dr. Jürgen Belle from Munich University of Applied Sciences first introduced the topic, which was then further deepened in presentations by representatives of Voith Paper and Solenis. Finally, Voith, the main sponsor of the event, invited the participants to a plant tour. For all participants, the personal exchange had a very special meaning after the long corona-related phase in which this was not possible. This was also shown by the fact that many guests had already arrived the evening before and got together for a convivial dinner sponsored by Villforth Siebtechnik and AGRANA Stärke (beverages).
