Mitchell Airport Welcomes New Director

We're excited to welcome Terrence Slaybaugh as the new Airport Director for Milwaukee County.  Mr. Slaybaugh recently was the Director of Aviation for the City of Dayton.  Prior to that, he served as Director of Aviation at the Greater Rochester International Airport.  Please say hello if you see Terry during your next visit to Mitchell Airport!

We "LUV" Southwest's New Dallas Route

Beginning this spring, you can jet off to Southwest's hometown of Dallas!  New nonstop flights from Milwaukee to Dallas-Love airport start April 8.  And don't forget that Southwest's new nonstop to San Diego begins April 11.  That brings Southwest's total number of MKE destinations to 24!  Remember, Southwest's flights can only be found at Southwest.com.

Delta Expands with Flights to Boston

Delta Air Lines will launch new nonstop service from MKE to Boston beginning June 5, giving customers another convenient option for traveling to New England.  Introductory fares start at just $133 each way and can be found online at www.delta.com.  Delta already offers nonstop service from Milwaukee to Atlanta, Cancun, Cincinnati, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New York LaGuardia, and Orlando.

PreCheck Enrollment Center Relocates

If you're looking to sign up for the TSA Pre✓™ expedited screening program, please note that the Milwaukee Enrollment Center has moved.  The new enrollment center, managed by IdentoGO, is located at 3841 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee.  TSA Pre✓™ provides registered passengers with expedited security screening at more than 120 airports nationwide.  MKE has TSA Pre✓™ lanes on all three concourses.  For more information, click here.

Honoring a Milwaukee-born Fighter Pilot

In February, the Mitchell Gallery of Flight installed its newest exhibit honoring U.S. Marine Corps Major General Tom Benes.  A Milwaukee native, he graduated from Custer High School and from UW-Madison.  Major General Benes passed away last September while the exhibit was under development.  Visit the Mitchell Gallery near the entrance to Concourse C to learn more about his Marine Corps career and accomplishments as a military aviator and leader.
