Help us Elect Housing Champions!

With the election three weeks from today Housing First is making final tweaks to it's 2014 campaign to elect housing champions. Our mail has been designed and is at the mail house, and our final digital and cable ads are in the closing stages of production. Polling shows that that nearly all of our targeted races are close so we'll be battling down to the wire in every race. Make sure you VOTE, see below for how you an vote early.

Johnson Releases New Ad

Republican gubernatorial candidate Jeff Johnson released a new television ad last week that questions the competence of DFL Gov. Mark Dayton.

Eligible voters are encouraged to visit mnvotes.org to check their registration status and register, request an absentee ballot, find their polling location, see a sample ballot, and more.

Nice Shot! Clay Shoot Hits the Mark.

This year's Clay Shoot was a blast! We had 105 shooters, with 120 attending dinner. Wild Wings in Hugo was a great host and the food was phenomenal! Ron Stewart, our host (without his membership we couldn’t have been there), won the biggest raffle of all – a Tristar Viper G2 Mag Semi-Automatic Camouflage Shotgun. Seniors Dispersing Away From Urban Cores

Senior citizens (age 65 and over) are dispersing throughout major metropolitan areas, and specifically away from the urban cores. This is the opposite of the trend suggested by some planners and media sources who claim than seniors are moving to the urban cores. Read more >>
