2013 Wraps Up With A Bang!
Usually the last few days of December inch along at a snail's pace, allowing me plenty of time to reenergize before the new year. But 2013 hasn't been wrapping up so quietly! Just a few days before Christmas, I shot 10 more videos to fuel my YouTube channel and landed another great event for 2014. (More about both in a bit.) And throughout December, I had the distinct pleasure of watching hundreds of gorgeous cookies flood my site Cookie Connection, where they're vying for over $700 in prizes in a cookie decorating challenge. Huge thanks to sponsors Designer Stencils, Fancy Flours, and Karen's Cookies for making this contest possible. On top of this, my house has come alive with the ebb and flow of many special holiday guests. (Thank goodness for my top 10 design tips, below. Without them, my house would still look like a video studio!)
While peaceful year-end transitions are nice, I wouldn't trade these big bursts of good cheer for anything! Here's to a loud New Year for you, too!
