NEWS

Australian Research Council (ARC) deadline extensions for applicants affected by bushfires
The ARC have advised that any researchers who have been professionally or personally affected by the current bushfires may be eligible to apply for an extension to the upcoming ARC grant submission deadlines. Read full article for further information. 

National Institutes of Health (NIH): Notice of Special Interest 
The NIH has released a Notice of Special Interest for applicants intending to apply for funding within the area of pain management in the context of opioid use or opioid use disorder (OUD). Read the full article for further details.

SciVal trial
SciVal is a tool that provides access to information regarding the performance of research entities including single authors, research institutions, and countries. The University will be trialling SciVal until the 11 February 2020. All staff on the University's IP range can access and test SciVal during this time. Further information.

Australian Institute of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander studies: free webinar

This webinar will explore the revised AIATSIS code of ethics - formerly the Guidelines for Ethical Research in Australian Indigenous Studies (GERAIS). It will provide a history of the Guidelines and an overview of the new code. Visit the website to register.

Biomedical Translation Bridge (BTB) program: information session
