What a year!

It’s been quite the year, hasn’t it? A rise in need across Queensland communities in 2020 has meant Youturn have had to swiftly respond, plan and adapt, and offers of help have been appreciated.

Youturn programs have been heartened by the kindness of people and businesses like yourself, looking to meet the needs of vulnerable youth and families. You’re receiving this newsletter to let you know how you’re making a difference.

Making change with Bendigo Bank

The Youturn are excited to be partnering with our local Tewantin Noosa Community bank, Bendigo Bank. This means we’re part of a big bank which has a grassroots community focus to give back and support what locals need. It also offers good old-fashioned customer service (in person) and very competitive interest rates.

If you're looking to switch banks, or take out a home or personal loan, please consider Tewantin Noosa Bendigo Bank and mention Youturn (and they’ll make a donation to us to support local youth in need).

Lions Support Medical Fit-Out

Our busy headspace Maroochydore centre has recently increased General Practitioner services by Dr Amanda Thomson (pictured) to improve access to both physical and mental health services for young people.

To ensure quality diagnosis and treatment a generous donation by the Lions & Lioness Club Mooloolaba was used to update onsite medical supplies and equipment.

Youturn now have a modern and reliable fit-out of our medical room including a defibrillator that can support the growing needs of our headspace Maroochydore clients.
